Dr Chengde Pham is a highly skilled Cataract, Paediatric and Adult Eye Surgeon with experience in multiple procedures, laser and injections for both adults and children.

He has extensive experience in:

• Cataract surgery

• Laser surgery

  • Retinal laser

  • Glaucoma laser (YAG peripheral iridotomy, SLT laser)

  • YAG capsulotomy

• Diseases of the retina including:

  • Diabetes and diabetic retinopathy

  • Age-related macular degeneration (AMD)

  • Retinal vein occlusion

  • Injection (intravitreal) treatment for retinal conditions

• Paediatric and children’s eye conditions including:

  • Strabismus/squint conditions (lazy or turned eye)

  • Eyelid conditions (stye/chalazion, cysts)

  • Blocked tear duct (nasolacrimal duct obstruction)

  • Paediatric cataract

Dr Pham is a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Ophthalmologists. He completed his Training at the Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital, pursuing further subspecialty training in Paediatric Eye Surgery at the Royal Children’s Hospital. He
was awarded his medical degree through the University of Melbourne.​
